The bike still starts and runs just a well has the first day I bought it, like i said, very reliable. I decided to keep the scooter in my mums garage after that to keep it safe, but i found that it was used less and less because of this.The road tax and my insurance ended in April 2010, so unfortunately I can`t tax the scooter without it costing me £110 to insure it for a year first. I have got all the original documents and I think the scooter is still under warranty until April 2012. The Scooter has only got 960 miles on the clock. it`s got to go! the bike starts and runs fine with the brakes, gearbox steering, lights etc all in working order. Its had two new front tyres very recently and the back ones have plenty of life left in them it`s had a recent starter motor which alone cost £200! having said that the battery is dead and needs replacing but this never bothered me as it starts so well with the pull start-usually on the first or second pull.as you can see from the pictures it`s a bit tatty and the plastics are faded but it`s still very solid and in-tact. the seat needs re-covering and the rear light lense is broken but it comes with a spare good unit. Also included in the sale is almost another complete bike for spares that has been stripped minus the engine and a few other parts, there are a complete set of spare wheels and tyres-front are bald but back still have a bit of life in them there is a spare frame,full set of plastics,spare wiring loom, handle bars front and rear racks,lights,fuel tank cover,hubs, suspension,steering,stainless silencer,owners manual(although the cover is faded the inside info is still perfectly useable) original toolkit, light switches ,cables etc etc i was told that the brakes were replaced not to long ago as well. At some point someone has tried to steal it, so the ignition barrel and fuel cap locks are a little damaged. They still work fine. The only faults I can find is the steering head bearings feel worn and the starter motor doesn`t seem to be working. The bike push starts very easy and it is usable like this.All the electrics work fine, etc. It is currently MOT`s, but the certificate has been lost. So you will need to get it MOT`s again. I do think the head bearings will need changing to pass an MOT. It has road tax till June 2012. You are more than welcome to view the bike before bidding. The bike is located in Romford, Essex.I have the full V5 logbook and a couple of MOT`s and some service history with the bike. Please note you are bidding to buy and not view or barter for the bike. have done about 4,000 miles on her . The bike is all there and has not been messed about with as far as I can see , The bike is in good condition with the exception of the Tank paintwork which whilst it looks good from 4 feet away has suffered micro blistering tiny pin head sized blisters which happens when poor quality primer is used normally .The frame has been powder coated to a high standard of finish at some time, the wheels and tires are good the engine has great power and wheelies in the first 3 gears.It also starts first kick, Exhausts are in good condition but some imperfections in the chrome are present . Engine ran over 5 years ago and since then she`s been sitting in the garage in the dryI spent alot of money on rechroming the forks aswell as new brake discs front and rear. Rear is a bit rusty but has done 0 miles nonetheless.Goodridge hoses fitted on the front.All plastics are present and in various states of repair.Spare fuel tank comes with bike as can be seen in photo ( grey primed but mild rust spots )Aswell as a V5 i do have an old Mot cert to prove she did get out and about.Please note before bidding the pre load adjuster on rear shock is missing. it started life in yellow paint but to me the only colour for the 250 is red and white so thats the colour i put it in on the log book it states yellow but the colour can be changed when the log book is sent off i had it mot`d a couple of months ago but have only just picked it up thats why its for sale now. being a novice rider i couldn`t ride it flat out even if i tried to ! the engine runs as it should, smooth and pulls like a train with no nasty noises. it starts up easy on the first couple of kicks every time, hot or cold.tidy plastics and graphics. it is a good solid bike, 1st to see will buy. it does however have a weeping fork seal and a bit of play in the lower linkage, i brought new bearings but have not fitted them yet as have been working flat out for ages now and have not had the time. the bike has not been ridden since october time. both are easy cheap jobs to do but because of it i have given it a low starting price and no reserve so whatever it goes for it sells at.i have 100% feedback and wish to keep it that way so have advertised my bike honestly, please no time wasters or messers. please view before bidding as there will be no tyre kicking or haggling when you get here.UK bids only please and i will not ship to any country so don`t ask.buyer to collect and cash on collection please.advertised elsewhere.contact to be made to arrange collection within 24 hours of auction end.anyone with a low feedback score or a bad history will have their bids removed unless they contact me first, i have been messed about before.call/text 07737111239. i work funny hours most of the time so if i do not answer please leave a messag X | £1900.00 | |||||||
