couple of months ago purely for my wife to practice for her CBT. And then practice on the roads whilst taking her direct access. We searched high and low until finding this bike in the Oxford area. It has a low mileage of 5540 miles it seems to have been very well cared for, and is a good example of this super little bike. The MOT is until 23rd of September 2012. And Tax is current until the end of July. The rear tyre is very close to its limit and will need to be renewed. This bike is certainly worth considering they are quite hard to find in this condition (and not thrashed). I include many photographs so that you can judge for yourself as to the condition this bike. Warranty. Here you have my really great Yamaha YBR125 in smart black paintwork. This has been used practically every day for my job and is 100% reliable - what you would expect of this great commuter bike. This has been carefully ridden and not thrashed. Very economical and great to ride. HPI Clear Mechanically sound and all intact. When bidding please consider the following `not so good` only cosmetic points: A few scrapes and scratches that could all be easily remedied. There are no dents to any metal body parts. Protective plasctic over the rear of the exhaust, both side panels were scuffed simply by wear and tear. I didn`t like the scratching so gave them a light respray. The side panels sort of a matt black at the moment but are undamaged. There is slight scuffing/light scratching on the headlamp fairing and tank fairing - again no underlying damage. Also usual scratching to rear of mirrors. Front part of exhaust showing surface discolouration (typical of the model and type) and I have given it a single coat of heat resistant paint. I replaced the Brake Lever but it is not an identical match to the Clutch Lever. I have been as honest as I can and this is a long list and I have included as many photographs for you to decide. great little commuter, the EFI engine is very economical and much more refined than the carbed version. the riding position is very comfortable tooIt comes with a disk lock and the helmet/storage box that is attached to the backoverall it is in good condition, although it does need a good spit and polish and it has a little bit of surface rust on the exhaust. but after a quick clean it will gleam like new againNow the bad part!It has developed a tapping sound from the top end. I took it to jordans bikes in gildersome who said it could be something as simple as valve clearance or the cam chain adjuster has failed. Now i have passed my driving test and have bought a van so unfortunately i just dont have the time or money to get the tapping sorted. it does still start and run but i wouldnt recommend riding it until the problem is sorted. Pleasee be aware that it is an insurance category C.I rode it for about 6 months without any problems until I stopped riding it as I have since bought a car.When I bought it no clocks were on the bike and I bought a brand new set so the milage is an estimate.As you can see in the photos, it has a few scrapes and dints from the previous owner.The bike is running and has a sound engine, although the front fork seals are leaking requiring repair and the front brake is sticking.There is a kickstart but it doesnt seem to be connected but never mattered as the electric start is fine.also, thought it was obvious but i`ll state that there is no MOT.As can be see in the pictures, the forks have some pitting and will probably need replacingFront brake lever is bent (but works fine)Small tear in seat (2 Inches)4 inch dent in fuel tankThe bike has been sat in my garage for 6 months and The Missus wants the space back.Could be used for spares or repair.Bike will be sold as seenI have tried to be as honest as possible, any questions just contact meLow starting price Happy bidding | X | £200.00  | |||||||
