is genuine as you will see from all the MOT`s that I have.For the past 6 years I have only used this bike for the occasional pleasure ride but each year when the MOT is done I pay whatever it cost to keep the bike up together. Last MOT had new Rear Disc and Pads Rear Master Cylinder Seal Kit total £268.97 spent. Full Givi Rack system including one 45 LTR Box as seen on the picture. The Bike is DATA TAGED This is a great bike with a good solid engine. As you can see from one of the photos there is a slight crack on the Fairing but this has been like this for years and has not travelled further. The fuel gauge does not work but the red light comes on and you have about 25 miles before you fill up. The gauges do not light up when the main lights are on but i`m sure this is easy to fix. this bike was sold new in the UK in 1998 and has done 18,000 miles . UK speedo and headlight fitted.All bodywork, exhaust system, brakes, wheels, suspension, swing arm, etc. were removed.The Swing arm, main stand rear suspension all linkages and all the front end including head stock have been stripped for check/service and refinishing and polished before rebuild. As the bike was reassembled most nuts bolts and brackets were re plated.Fully serviced on re assembly including all filters, oils and plugs. All valve clearances checked and adjusted if needed, carbs balanced, etc.Stainless exhaust collector and new tall screen fitted .Will have the bike MOT,d at point of sale. Hope you can see from the finished photo`s its condition.The bike has had over a 100 hours on the work bench and is completely ready to ride/tour this season.I have worked on this model for around 17 years now and have yet to come across a mechanically stronger model. or backside. I`ve had the bike nearly 8 years and it has been very reliable. Shaft drive so no need for new chains & sprockets. The brakes work well. Crash bars and back rack Have just put 12 months MOT on bike today, passed ok with no advisors The bike has been on sorn since September as I have another bike. THE BAD BITS Its had a little bit of welding done on the exhaust as can be seen in the photo. The tank had a couple of pin holes in it in the very bottom right hand corner but has been resealed on the inside using a tank sealant. Has rust here and there, nothing major, as can be seen in the photos. The petrol guage doesn`t work ( A common problem so I`ve heard ).
