little bikes are great for a sixteen year old, and look more like a 125! Fitted with immobilizer, and comes with original owners handbook, and service book, showing services at 900m, 4100m, 7460m, 7475m, 7901m, 9994m. Now has covered 13,000miles although the speedo stopped working the week before it was taken off the road. Bike was taken off the road last June, in running order, but with a slight oil leak from the oil pipe runing from the two-stroke oil tank. I would not expect much being required to re-commission this bike other than rectification of the oil leak, and attention to the speedo malfunction. Tyres in good order, suspension unit fairly new, and battery should be ok with a charge. Comes with immobiliser document, some service receipts, some old MoT`s and HPi certificate showing all clear. Slight scratch on one side fairing, but overall bike is in good condition for its year. No MoT or Tax, but priced to sell, not many of these around intact these days. has just had a top end rebuild with a rebore and new piston and rings (.75 oversize) and sounds great for a 125, one of the best engines i`ve heard running on a 4dl, its had a new battery and the previous owner put new chain and sprockets on it. Bodywork wise it has a few scuffs (shown in pictures 6&7) and some very small cracks that can be repaired, some of the paint has faded as it does on these marlboro models and the right hand side fairing panel has cracks in the orange paint, the storage flap on the back is complete and working with the key but the battery cover could do with a minor repair to the fixing where you screw it to the frame, but for now a cable tie is doing that job and was done by the previous owner. The paint on the frame and swingarm has faded and in places the paint has started to flake off here and there but nothing too bad. The exhaust downpipe is standard and in very good condition and the tail pipe is tyga and sounds very nice too. The tyres are great with plenty of tread and so are the fork seals as they have just been replaced. The bike is good for as it is now in its condition but for the purest then you could restore it to mint condition, the bike is complete with nothing missing (maybe a few screws etc) and would make a very easy restoration project or just use it as it is. selling this bike is quite simple, for a long time i was after a 2ma to complete my collection of tzr`s as i have a 3xv and a 3ma, but the 2ma i was after was the blue and yellow model, like the one i had when i was younger. But i searched and searched and waited but none came up for sale so i decided to get the red and white model, but you guessed it, a month or so after i bought this bike a blue one came up for sale. so it had to be mine, which left me with 2 2ma`s. I was going to keep it at first, to use for parets for the blue one as it would mean unlimited parts to keep it on the road for years to come, but decided against it as it was a crime to do this to a bike as nice as this. So i am going to sell her as she deserves to be rode and i do need the room for the other 3 tzr`s. i am going to be as accurate as i can and if i think of anything else i will add it later, so lets get the bad out of the way first; She has a aftermarket full front fairing, but it is made by skidmarx so fit good, and is a lot lighter than stock, and does look quite good. The exhaust cans have some dents, but the systems are sound with no holes. There is some rust inside the tank, so could do with sealing, but the tank is solid with no holes or leaks. surely one of the best-looking and sounding 250 two-stroke twins ever made. Imported to the UK in 1992. I bought the bike in 1998 from Bacons Motorcycles in Ilford but haven`t used it since 2001; odometer shows 16,554 kms/10,286 miles. It has been carefully garaged, regularly turned over and was recently prepared for MOT by Bacons who found no significant faults; work undertaken included stripping down and cleaning carburettors and power valves. MOT certificate expires 12 April 2013. It has a brand new battery, starts on the first kick, is running sweetly, starts on the first kick and sounds fantastic. Generally in fair condition, some scuffs here and there, and needs only cosmetic restoration to produce a real gem. Minor faults I am aware of; instrument lights and temperature gauge not working; discolouration of wing-mirror cases; small crack in windscreen by mirror mounting point. earlier tzr125 , this is no normal boring tzr ,they made the Belgarda as a statement , this was made by the italian company Belgarda hence its name, it uses the 4HW (TZR250R) frame and crank case with the 4fuoo block/head. this is fully de-restricted 33bhp version 124cc 2 stroke ,this can be restricted if need be. this engine is presently in the process of being run in due to a full engine re-build consisting of all bearings ,mains and big ends , con rod ,gudgeon pin ,piston and rings ,bore re-sleaved and honed ,head machined and all the gaskets needed. its running castrol 1 racing oil in the gearbox and castrol 1 Fully synthetic 2 stroke oil, this bike has only done 100 miles since re-build so still running tight at the minute ,obviously with still running in the bike will need the running in procedure finishing off hence if you`re coming from a distance i`d advise to collect with a van/trailer and sorry NO test rides, once run in this bike will hold its own with todays 125`s and with the right rider ,any of todays 125`s wont stand a chance and for a 17yr old bike that aint bad if you bid then you buy ,its not for you to come and haggle ,so if you want to veiw the bike before bidding then you`re more than welcome just email me to arrange viewing X | £1600.00 | |||||||
