A truly remarkable genuine mileage Yamaha SZR660 Super Single.Spec is as followes :-The 659-cc single-cylinder bike makes the most of its relatively modest power output by virtue of its light, stiff frame.The Yamaha SZR660 was built in Italy and equipped with Italian made Paoli USD (Up Side Down) front forks and Marzocchi rear shock-absorber.The chassis is from the Belgarda (Yamaha Italy) TZR 250 Sports two-stroke road bike. The engine is from the Yamaha XT660 Trail machine, so this bike is a hybrid. The 660 engine incorporates a FIVE valve cylinder head, one of the last Yamahas manufactured with such a feature. There are three intake and two exhaust valves. RUNNING ITALIAN UPSIDEDOWN FORKS WITH CLIP ON HANDLEBARS AND BREMBO BRAKES ALL AS STD...AND MATCHED WITH THE YAM 660 SINGLE ENGINE FROM THE POPULAR XTZ660 ENDURO BIKE...THE STYLING IS A BIT LIKE MARMATE LOVE IT OR NOT...BUT ALL THE PRESS AT THE TIME LOVED THE SHARPE HANDLING CHARACTOR OF THE BIKE WITH ITS AMAZING STOPPING POWER AND VERY GOOD POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO...NOT THE FASTEST BIKE AROUND BUT A QUIRKY SINGLE...IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD DITCH THE BODYWORK AND MAKE A AMAZING CAFE RACER AS LOOK AT THE RUNNING GEAR...ITS ALMOST A CAFE RACER WITH ONLY ADDING A DECENT OLD STYLE BODY KIT...THE BIKE HASNT BEEN USED SINCE 2008/9...I PUT ON A DECENT BATTERY AND AFTER A BIT OF MESSING AROUND GOT THE BIKE FIRED UP ON THE BUTTON, ALL GEARS ELECTRICS WORKING AS THEY SHOULD...THE ENGINE SOUNDS A TAD NOISEY TO ME BUT MAY BE LIKE THIS ANYWAY AS ITS A BIG SINGLE LUMP, AND IM A INLINE FOUR MAN MYSELF...FORKS HAD SOME OIL AROUND THE SLIDERS BUT A WD TREATMENT AND LUBE UP OF THE SEALS SEAMS TO HAVE WORKED...I WOULD RECOMEND A COMPLETE ENGINE SERVICE BEFORE USING IT, THE ONLY BIT YOU WILL NEED IN MY OPINION FOR THE MOT IS A HORN...EVERYTHING ELSE SEAMS SERVICEABLE AND WORKING AS IT SHOULD...THE LAST GOOD EXAMPLE OF THIS BIKE WAS SOLD BY A SHOP FOR OVER £2000...IM NOT AFTER THAT X | £430.00  | |||||||
