ever since, the mudgaurds and various bits have been liberally sprayed with WD40 to prevent rust. The bike has great compression and would probably run without too much work but due to increased work commitments I just don`t seem to be able to find the time to spend on it. I bought the bike earlier this year with the thought to doing a mild restoration but I have realised it`s just not going to happen. The bike is in amazing condition for its age, very little rust anywhere, the mudgaurds are not rusted nor are the exhausts, the seat cover has a split in it and the paintwork is a little tired, The chain is missing as is the battery, the brakes require attention as the bike has been off the road for so long. In my opinion this bike doesn`t need much money spent on it to get it up together just a bit of time and effort. The bike has matching frame and engine numbers.The bike is advertised elsewhere and as such I reserve the right to remove this listing without notice, you are more than welcome to view the bike prior to the end of the auction, any winning bidder to contact me within 24hrs of the end of auction, cash on collection please. he`d won it. The details below have now been amended.This project is 95% completed. It has no V5. I do have a certificate of age from the DVLA officer of the owners club to testify it`s age. This of course will be supplied to the winning bidder. MOT on the frame number etc. you know the score. The previous owner had replaced the ignition switch so it has 2 keysThe new/replaced parts are as follows, (I may have forgotten a few). The bottom end of the engine was re-built by the previous owner. highest detail - no decals used Frame powdercoated Engine and gearbox rebuilt with new pistons and 0.75 rebores Yamaha "GIULIARI" limited series seat unit fitted "KONI" shock absorbers - There are few details which require attention to finish project : Gear switches has to be stripped and resprayed - I have one spare gearswitch in immaculate condition which coms with bike Front forks could go with respray but have another complete front suspension in standard colour which coms with bike and can be replaced Left exhaust pipe needs to be rechromed or replaced Downpipes are in poor condition but there are new sets on eBay for around £50 so no problem here Both engine covers need new paint coat as scratched Carbs has to be cleaned and properly set as overflowing and can`t run properly Front and rear chrome mudguards with some minor dents - I`v recently spent £650 on new paintwork,spare parts and engine rebuilt and another £200 needs to be invested to bring this bike to perfect/mint condition.
