me and now I have a change of plan and need the space in the garage, Everything is present and there is no nasty corrosion anywhere, that is why I have been brave enough to show the pictures of the downpipes and under the seat, you really need to see this to appreciate it. I am still amazed every time I look at it. The MOT expired recently but it is still taxed. The bike has done 200 miles since the last MOT, so will sail through. It does need a new battery but this does not affect it starting, the batteries degrade unless used regularly in the cold weather which obviously this does not. I rode the bike last spring when I initially saw it but my neighbour was unsure wether to sell, it rides like a dream the engine is sweet and sounds exactly as it should, nice and torquey as these are renound for, or they were in the late eighties. My neighbour told me that the top end was checked and new rings fitted just as a matter of course while it was apart, so it will need a couple of hundred miles of gentle riding just to bed them in. All the fixings and fastners are present and not rusted, no cable ties or bulldog clips holding it together, you know what I mean, the beauty of it is that it is in such good original condition and not been dragged from the bottom of a river and everything replaced! No advisories on MOT which runs to July 9th 2012. Also one of front discs is binding a little but probably just needs a clean and some use.
