the bike value. (i have the engineers damage report if you want it) I was going to fix it up myself and get it back on the road but i now need the room in the garage so it must go. I do not have the v5 as i had to give it to insurance company but i have both keys. Only front bodywork/left footrest/exhaust were damaged. The frame, tank, swingarm, suspension, brakes, wheels and engine are all undamaged (Subframe has been chopped and rewelded to raise the rear end.) Rear bodywork is also undamaged. Right exhaust silencer has cracked, left is dented, headers are fine. Tyres are still fairly new, only done around 800miles before the `incident`.The engine ran very well before and after the crash. It has not been started for about 6 months due to it being in bits but i will put some petrol in it and make sure it runs before the auction ends.Would be good as a spares bike or for someone to fix up, i thought it would make a nice little streetfighter.Any questions just ask!! When I bought the bike it had been sitting around for a few years so with a little work needed I got it back on the road, but the only paper work I got with the bike was the V5 so I cant say for sure if the millage is correct but it runs great. The only problem with the bike is the crome on the struts and also the wheel spokes. The rims are ok with a clean. since its last M.O.T. The bike has covered 33516 miles althrough I am unsure of the engines milage as the bike has been fitted with a 2000 model engine before i bought it. inlet manifold and chain and sprockets which were all replaced. It also had a headlight suitable for europe so we replaced it with a UK one, the spare will be included in the sale as will the rear seat which is presently removed to improve its looks(simple to bolt back on). Tyres look as new and the speedo shows kmph and mph. The mileage shown is in km so is only 9501 miles. A new brake shoe got it through the MOT and it is now in excellent running order. It looks very clean and in very good condition, if you look closely you can find some minor wear and tear as you`d expect for a bike this age, the worst is on the ground facing side of the exhaust as I have shown in the photo. It is generally an attractive and very clean example of this popular bike. The rear seat is removed and a white stripe effect added to the mudguards by the previous owner, we like it but it could easily be removed if preferred. A top quality learner bike, as a cruiser it lends itself to a nice upright gentle ride, ideal to encourage new riders to keep to a safe speed, it is also very comfortable, will keep up with general traffic as any other 125 and is also a head turner. motorcycles and has just been taxed and MOT`d and serviced, when I got the bike back it was still not running right so it is now with Cardiff motorcycle centre. The carbs have been cleaned, it has just had new plugs and the coils have been checked, the wiring has been looked at and fixed in places but I have been told it will probably need a new loom. Just spent around £300 on it but due to the age of the bike I have decided not to put any more money into it and look for something else instead. It is a good middle weight cruiser and a great first bike which is cheap to insure. The general condition of the bike is pretty good for it`s age although there are some rust spots, these should just polish out though,also the chrome on the rocker boxes is peeling off, works out cheaper to buy new ones than re-chrome, you can pick them up for about £10 each. The bike has a custom paint job, oil tank, exhaust, Spitfire screen, Mikuni carbs and a tank protector, it also had a new engine about 19,000 miles ago. The maltese cross mirrors have been removed because a policeman told me I had to but they will be included in the sale price. The bike is currently taxed and MOT`d for about 11 months, the bike will need a new rear left indicator as it is currently hanging off (not shown in photos), but these are only about £15 on ebay. winter. When i had this bike i spent a fortune on it making it as best as it could be. Its had oil filter/oil, spark plug, Air filter, Fork seals/dust seals, inlet rubbers, Ignition coil, pickup coil and Chain and sprockets. All were genuine parts form Fowlers yamaha. Its also had in the past year new tyres, carb kit, reg/rec Seat recovered + new foam, brake pads front/rear with new brake fluid. So more than the bike cost has easily been spent. This bike is also under 33bhp which means you can ride it on a restricted licence and its cheap to insure. My mate Dave bought this off me expecting to do his test, however he has his cbt but failed his test and was told to get more experience on a 125. So now this must be sold so a 125 can be bought. Unfortunately the bike has been sat for +6 months in Dave`s Garage not being used so has no tax and needs a wash. There is also so light rust starting on the side stand and a couple of other brackets bits and bobs. There is also two cracks in the tail piece under the seat (cant be seen) and the ignition lock has been tampered with however this was done before i bought it and the lock is secure and 100% working so we saw no need to replace it. This is a cracking wee bike and with a quick wash she will be great again. She starts on the button and is so flickable as it only weighs 123kg which X
